Building energy consumption is currently one of the three major societal energy consumers. To advance China's 3060 dual carbon strategy, promote the implementation of the "Carbon Peak Action Plan for Urban and Rural Construction", and continuously deepen the green and low-carbon transformation of urban and rural construction, strengthen industry cooperation and exchanges, and promote industrial synergistic development, the 8th China Passive Building Development Summit was held on October 26th in Shanghai.

Themed "Leading Zero Carbon · Empowering the Future", the summit was led by the China Building Energy Conservation Association, hosted by the Passive Building Committee of the China Building Energy Conservation Association. SAYYAS, a company at the forefront of independently researching and producing passive building windows in China, was invited as a standing director unit of the Passive Building Alliance of the China Building Energy Conservation Association to participate in this summit.

Yong Wang, the Research & Development Director of SAYYAS, attended the forum and delivered a keynote speech titled "Windows Building Ultra-Low Energy Consumption Cities". He deeply analyzed the significant role of high-quality energy-efficient exterior windows in ultra-low and near-zero energy consumption buildings. Using the example of the near-zero energy consumption office building in Nanjing independently renovated by SAYYAS, he detailed the external windows of ultra-low and near-zero energy consumption buildings, discussing green building envelope solutions from multiple dimensions such as structure, main materials, craftsmanship, and installation.

Over the years, SAYYAS has provided exterior window products for more than 140 energy-efficient building projects across China. Among them, projects such as the Landsea Bruck Passive House Hotel in Shanghai, stand as iconic green energy-efficient buildings in the East China region. After many years of operation, the overall thermal insulation effect of their windows remains intact, with their quality and durability proven in practice.
