6. Is the Sayyas window solid wood?
Sayyas provides solid wood windows, to be exact it is Solid Wood Integrated Material. The solid wood used by Sayyas is cut down and strictly screened to remove defects such as knots and rot before gluing. The downside of sawn timber lies in its tendency to warp and split, along with its inherent natural flaws. Sayyas, however, utilizes Solid Wood Integrated Material that is crafted from finger-jointed or edge-glued segments derived from sawn timber. This innovative approach rectifies the innate shortcomings of wood, significantly curbing its propensity to deform and crack. Thus, while it originates from sawn timber, the quality it embodies is decidedly superior.
7. Can Sayyas Window be used in humid areas? Will it crack and depaint?
Yes. It can be used in humid areas.
First of all, wood is integrated material that will not crack, as detailed in the answer of the last question.

16. What is aluminum-clad wood window?
Aluminum-clad wood doors and windows feature frames constructed from thermally insulated, thermal-break aluminum alloy profiles and solid wood. These are assembled using mechanical methods, all while preserving the inherent qualities and functions of traditional solid wood doors and windows. The two materials are connected by polymer nylon pieces, which fully takes into account the different properties of wood and metal shrinkage coefficients. The most prominent features of aluminum-clad wood doors and windows include excellent heat insulation, energy efficiency, and resistance to sand. Aluminum-clad wood windows feature a layer of thermal-break aluminum alloy in addition to solid wood, enhancing the sealing of the windows and doors. This construction significantly strengthens their resistance to wind and sand infiltration. When the heat becomes unbearable, it can also serve to keep the dry and scorching exterior air out, while helping to preserve the cool air inside. It won't freeze or produce condensation in the cold of winter, and also helps to keep outdoor noise from coming through the window.
(1) The outdoor component is constructed from specialized die-extruded profiles, with a surface coated in electrostatic powder or fluorocarbon to withstand sunlight's ultraviolet rays and various forms of natural corrosion. The owner has a selection of colors and designs to choose from. The indoor portion is crafted from premium wood, treated through specialized methods. Wood species can be chosen to meet the owner's preferences. The wood surface is finished with high-quality varnish that provides resistance to ultraviolet light, water, and corrosion, while also being eco-friendly and sustainable.
Specialized profiles for doors and windows have been implemented, which exhibit minimal deformation and can complement various interior design styles, contributing positively to the overall decor. These profiles are harmonized with interior decorative paints. Since the wood profiles on the interior side interrupt the thermal bridge responsible for the transfer of energy between indoors and outdoors, the impact on energy conservation is quite significant.
(2) Multiple seals are used, ensuring superior sealing performance. The waterproofing and sealing capabilities surpass those of standard aluminum and premium uPVC windows.

17. How about the sound insulation performance of Sayyas aluminum-clad wood windows? How to improve the sound insulation performance?
The sound insulation performance of window is the joint action of glass, rubber strip and frame body. In the case of a certain frame, to improve sound insulation performance, you can choose to replace better glass and rubber strips. Sayyas aluminum-clad wood windows can reduce noise up to 47 dB.
18. How about the waterproof performance of Sayyas aluminum-clad wood windows?
According to Chinese national standards, the minimum water tightness requirement for external windows is 250 Pascals (Pa), with a maximum of 700 Pa. For typhoon resistance, the standard is set at 642 Pa. Sayyas side-hinged windows, however, have achieved a water tightness exceeding 900 Pa.
19. Are Sayyas Aluminum-clad wood windows fireproof? Is there any certificate?
Buildings that are completely fireproof do not exist. Often, it is the contents of buildings, rather than the structural elements themselves, that ignite, posing threats to both lives and property.
As such, the safety design objective for building materials is gradually shifting from "fire prevention" to "fire resistance". The average temperature in a building fire ranges from 700–900°C. Below are the fire performance characteristics of wood, steel, aluminum alloy, and PVC:
Regarding strength:
When steel heats up to 230°C, its strength significantly decreases. At 750°C, it retains merely 10% of its original strength and is prone to sudden collapse.
Wood begins to burn and carbonize at temperatures around 250°C. The carbonized layer acts as insulation, preventing further temperature increases within the wood.
Considering melting points and ignition points:
Aluminum alloy has a melting point of 650°C. Even when used with fire-resistant glass, its functions may be compromised due to the frame disintegrating.
PVC has a melting point between 120–210°C, which makes it unsuitable for fire-resistant window frames.
Steel windows can accommodate fire-resistant glass, but they are not commonly used due to poor thermal insulation properties.
The ignition point for wood is 250°C. However, wood's effective heat insulation and the carbonized layer that forms when burned prevent the high temperatures from spreading to the opposite side, thus mitigating the risk of igniting other materials.
After exposure to open flames at temperatures above 800°C for 20 minutes, only a 19 mm depth of wood is carbonized, which represents 27.9% of its total thickness; the majority of the remaining structure is unscathed. This indicates that a Sayyas wood window, when fitted with appropriate fire-resistant glass, can be considered the best option for a fireproof window.
In August 2004, Sayyas’ aluminum-clad wood windows received fire certification from Japan's National Testing Center.

23. What is LOW-E glass?
LOW-E glass, also known as low-emissivity coated glass, has one or more layers of metallic or metal oxide films applied to its surface. The coating is characterized by high transmission of visible light and high reflection of mid and far-infrared radiation, resulting in superior thermal insulation properties and good light transmission when compared to ordinary glass and traditional architectural coated glass.
LOW-E glass is categorized into two types: online LOW-E glass and offline LOW-E glass, each distinguished by its respective coating process.
24. What is tempered glass?
Tempered glass is a type of safety glass. It is a form of prestressed glass designed to enhance strength. To achieve this, chemical or physical methods are typically employed to induce surface-level compressive stress. This feature allows the glass to counteract external forces, increasing its load-bearing capacity while boosting its resistance to wind pressure, heat, and impact.
Sayyas' tempered glass undergoes a precise thermal treatment process. This involves heating the glass to just below its softening point before subjecting it to a uniform and rapid cooling. As a result, the surface of the glass develops compressive stress. During the cooling phase, the exterior of the tempered glass solidifies quickly, while the interior cools at a slower rate. As the inner portion continues to cool and contract, it creates compressive stress on the outer surface and tensile stress inside the glass. This enhances the overall strength and thermal stability of the glass.
