China’s aluminium framed door industry is organized around several practical production hubs. Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shandong each provide different supply chain strengths. Understanding these differences helps buyers assess manufacturers beyond polished catalog images.
Guangdong, especially the Pearl River Delta, is known for dense aluminium extrusion, hardware, glazing, and export logistics networks. Suppliers there often support custom profiles, slim frames, and quick sample development. Jiangsu has strong industrial engineering capabilities, including automated cutting, thermal-break assembly, and large project production. Zhejiang combines active hardware manufacturing with flexible private-factory operations. Its coastal logistics can also support overseas shipments. Shandong offers substantial material processing capacity and competitive pricing for larger construction orders. Delivery routes may require closer planning, depending on the project location.
A reliable evaluation should examine the complete chain, not only the finished door. Ask for profile alloy specifications, coating records, seal samples, and dimensional tolerances. Inspect corner joints carefully; weak crimping can create visible gaps after installation. Factory photographs help, but physical samples reveal more. They show surface consistency, handle alignment, and closing pressure.
Geography is not a guarantee. A capable supplier may still have uneven quality between batches. This is where sourcing becomes less convenient. Buyers should compare production records, inspection procedures, packaging methods, and response times. A clear sample approval process reduces misunderstandings, although it cannot remove every risk. Forecast accuracy also matters, since rushed orders can strain even mature regional supply chains.
